This is my alltime favorite video, resurecting a forgotton dream is such a wonderfull thing for your business and utube as a whole, today I tip my hat to you, I love builds and always look forward to you transforming, modifying and improving a video but the respect you showed for this vehicle is far beond that (in this case atleast), you have honored the past rather then re creating it and the appreciation of viewers will show

That’s an awesome find! I totally agree with you on getting it cleaned up, and lining up the bumper and edges. And the linseed oil should help to prevent any further rust. I use it all the time on ball peen hammers and certain mechanic, and carpentry tools. The car has great bones, and they’re only original once. It’s definitely in the right hands!!

I believe the fabric you're referring to is 'Mohair', I hope that's spelled right. I learned that and a few other things at Kimball's Auto Trim & Upholstery, in Burton Michigan. I enjoy your channel, Chip, I watched your show and when you were on Boyd Coddington's show. Thanks for sharing all this with all of us, I'm sure everyone else likes it too. I watched you drive down the street and back and didn't see any blue smoke coming out the tailpipe, Once a smog inspector, always a smog inspector, lol.

Bravo ; you are exactly the right owner for this 1932 Ford Deluxe Tudor. I agree, there is a difference having an altered , unoriginal old car & having a clean, 'the best it can look' original cared for old car. I have done similar to my latest Model A, but the paintwork is better than yours. You will encounter many small mechanical defects to get it reliable, but all you need is time & perserverance. An original 1932 Ford is now a rare bird ; most guys do not see beyond the fashion after WW2 to turn them into speed machines. Being the first low cost V8 [ plus a very potent 4 cylinder also] debueing at the wrong time [ Depression]] they deserve to be preserved.

Im finally glad to see someone in the hot rod industry that shows common sense when they find a time capsule and dont tear it apart and ruin it forever. This car should be left just as it is and not modified or hot rodded or restored in any way. It stood the test of time for many decades because of past owners seeing the value in it just as it is. From a brand new car, to a decades old worthless used car 60 years ago, to a valuable time capsule today. Amazing job cleaning the old girl up. Shame the original owner isnt around to see it today like this. Far too many have sat undisturbed for decades only to be discovered, altered, and ruined.
