When we built the house we are presently in, I wanted a garage real bad. Previous house didnt have one. So we built the house with a 2 cars garage and the original plan was to build a 32, since I had one for a summer in another life, got rid of it because I didn't have space to store it in the winter. We live in Québec where winters are sometimes brutals and you cant keep a car in 4 ft of snow for 3 months. When I got ready to start searching and planning a 32 build, a 72 Corvette 4 spd big block went up for sale about a mile from where I live. It was in a sad state because it has been parked since the 80's and was a car that had been driven in winter so that meant a lot of rust damages to the frame but the car was complete. It was parked for a long time and died in it's sleep. And the owner had a completely rebuilt rolling chassis because he intended to swap the chassis but ran out of money. So the 32 project was back benched and got into the restoration of the Corvette. I got all the comments you described, ''cool good luck with that, you got over your head with this one, you paid how much for that???? blablabla. But like you also said, I didnt worry about what they said my plan was on track. Corvette is almost done, once it's done, the 32 will probably become an obsession, (Well I think that it's already an obsession LOL). Thanks for the motivation. Beautiful ride my friend. Keep it up.

Thank you for the inspiring words. I messaged you a couple weeks ago about my project in Austin. My wifes father gave me a real 32 chassis that was his dads (it was being used on their farm as a cotton trailer). I am building it in my one car garage. I got a 49 Olds motor with period correct speed equipment and a few other early parts for it. Your current project is getting me pretty fired up as I get into it. Feeling confident about it after watching your videos. All the best in your current build. I will follow along and hopefully catch up now that our brutal summer is finally breaking. Thanks again.
