Why are you doing this to me? This sound is going to be living inside of my head forever now.

All of Carl's pieces feel composed and considered, they have the structure of mature songs -- I can't believe they are all off the cuff! That is insane.

Perfect sense of rhythm, perfectly accurate picking, and repetition of improvised ideas make the music sound familiar the first time you hear it. Guy is masterful.

Ok, now I understand the vintage market. Best sounding guitar I’ve likely heard on youtube. Wow!

lol I was making supper with my headphones on and this video popped up and started playing, I knew it was Carl's playing because of his melodies and playing style, he's so smooth and accurate. needless to say Mr. Miner is in my top 5 guitarists that I absolutely love to hear playing. Cheers

killer. It is amazing how many guitar shops have lack-luster musicians demoing their incredible guitars. Carl does all of these absolute justice. So nice to hear. Need to book a trip to Nashville soon.

This is one of the best sounding guitars i have ever heard! I love the OM guitars already as one of the most favourite one, due to the beautiful balance in low mid en high for sure. This one has such a clear sound and extremly warm as a DR but bright as the OM. It has aged to perfection! If i was able to pay this one, it for sure would be my choise! And for sure it helps Carl playing this one!

Carl, your rhythm dynamics are so artful, weaving the elements of the same chord from the background to the fore. Your song would still be amazing just as straight-forward strumming, but you next-level even your greatest stuff 👍 Mahogany is a very honest-sounding wood, and when you are on-point with what you are trying to do it shows you that in really vivid, endearing ways.

Carl you take me everytime you Play. I work my playing watching your demo. I still Wonder What strings and what picks do you use ?

Carl may chime in, but his main go-to pick is the Dunlop Tortex Flex 1.14!
@skyko3 ай бұрын
I noticed you didn't double-mic this guitar like you've done many of Carl's other Martin guitar videos. It isn't easy to decipher the guitar's sound quality if they are all miked differently.
@646oleg2 жыл бұрын
nobody made better sounding guitars, pre-war martins are on the different level
@thomaskila38013 жыл бұрын
It's just ridiculous how a 91 year old guitar can sound so beautiful. Oh, yeah...and that guy with his arms rapped around it while messing with the strings is pretty good, too. (Just kidding about Carl. He's one of my favorite players - even though my jealousy of his skills sometimes wishes he would mess up once in a while just so I'd know he's human.)
