Very rare to find videos of acoustic archtop's being played without having the hell lamped out of them. This & the one of George playing a 50's D'Angelico are stellar examples of how it should be done. Beautiful.

that's what i thought too, so i've decided to create this channel to showcase several high end acoustic archtops from the 30s and 40s, don't hesitate to check it out ;)

Sounds beautiful, both instrument (duh) and recording. And I am a big fan of Mr. Aslaender’s playing.

ıs he the best, most tasteful guitarist ever? Stupid me of 70 never heard him before yesterday. Shame on me and on jazz community too for not letting me know all these years. And Retrofret: You deserve wider recognition. :))))

I really like your playing and the arrangement of this tune. Could you play it again on KZbin without the mikes in the way? That is one great sounding guitar. Wow! Thank you.

Any way you can re-record this video so the mikes aren't in front of his hands. I'd like to see what he's playing. Thank you
