Fletcher Henderson’s version is my favorite, but I loved going to this party, too. The piece invites such energy and playfulness-and I love those modulations at the end.

The beginning and parts of this song sound like Hot Water by Cab Calloway :)

I’m aware of Ms. Hutton’s talents as “front man,” but does anyone know if she actually carried out her band’s arrangements?

Given the difference in personnel, this party is not nearly so wild as the one hosted by Fletcher Henderson, but nevertheless, it's fun.

Ina is likely dancing in some low cut number and directing the band. No matter which way she’s facing, the audience has a great view. (Band isn’t bad)
