It is such a rare event to see one in this condition and typing so well. I love its sound. I have a special request. As an exception to your normal video format, it would have been very pleasant to see you load the paper, adjust it straight, set the margins and the line spacing, type and use some tabs to make a table with columns. Just a way tonshowcase this wonderful machine. Thanks for your videos.

The first typewriter I ever used, as a kindergarten boy in the early sixties, was an Underwood #5. I had to really press to get it to shift! My restored 1940 Master has the same internals as this one, still my favorite because of that famous Underwood snappy touch. These days I don't mind the carriage shift at all! Someone is getting a really amazing machine. Does this one have decimal tabulation?

Yes, the decimal tabulation is what watchmakers would call a complication. Would have been used for columnar work involving numbers...

@@NisKildegaard I never had any use for one but I always wanted a mech machine with one. These electronic days, of course, it means nothing. Someone is gonna love this machine.
