Am I the only one who likes also hearing the individual voices in the background?

I enjoy Bob Elson's work. He was an outstanding broadcaster for the White Sox, Cubs and Bears from 1929 until he entered the service in WWII and for the White Sox exclusively until 1970. His relatively low-key, very professional style influenced the next generation of broadcasters. Contrast this to the "shout into the mike" style of former megaphone man Tom Manning in the 1934 game.

Can hear the vendors hawking peanuts, popcorn, potato chips and "ice cold Coca Cola" in the background.

But this game was in Municipal Stadium, which they started using on weekends in 1932 and full-time in 1946.
