Previous owner subscribed to "happy wife,happy life". Yeah I'm not giving up on old radio collecting and restorations.( Says this single guy). Nothing worse than trying to undo another restorers mistakes. Wire dressing issues which can lead to humming issues as much as too high a capacitance of the electrolytics. We finally get to see your face Adam at 37:00! It's a good face. Wow that is a nice grill cloth pattern! Radio looks and sounds like it should finally. Steve from IL

With all the hardware still being there, I wouldn't discount the possibility that Zenith threw a 12tube chassis in it to use up an empty cabinet instead of being a frankenradio.

It's OK to go a bit over the value of an electrolytic, but never go under! I personally use a CL-90.
