I'll never understand why 39s were not more popular than 40-41s. That front end is just too freaking cool. Nice job. It did pain me a bit to see a hole cut in the hood.

I am the eldest son of the former owner of this car (I’m briefly in the video helping load it up on the trailer). I have followed this project since Eggleston hauled it from my Dad’s place back to Iowa. I am thrilled to see this completed ride, and I’m sure my Dad would have loved this too. Excellent work!

Awesome!. I know about rare '39 Willys because I have one. You did a remarkable job taking a heap of scrap and giving it a new life. Great job 👍. I did have to stop the video often just to read the info because it went away too quick. Thanks for sharing your journey with the Willys.

What a project! "Ya done GOOD"! Great to see all the perseverence through vicissitudes - you have the right to "feel hard done by" over the rear end failures. Also nice to see fam and friends pitching in - always good to have someone to blame stuff on. If you could leave the on-screen captions up longer, maybe I could finish reading them without rewinding and pausing. I did a lot of that. Thanks for sharing.

What a creative save, great project and beautiful result. Wow. Gotta Subscribe, Video all meat, no drama. Like to see the power you got out of the 283 and what cam did you use. I understand low bucks but you can still make decent power. Audio of the motor too lost all audio about half way thru. Thanks for posting. Good, fun low bucks project and it doesn't have to remain rusty to be cool. Dennis in Virginia
@egglestonkustoms82043 жыл бұрын
Thank you! Not sure how much power the 283 has, never dyno'd it to find out. For the cam, it has an edelbrock performer rpm cam kit. Heads are stock double hump. Nothing fancy but runs decent.

Plasma arc is IMO one of the best investments. Second being the TIG with aluminum capabilities. But frankly you can never have to many tools or workspace. Be frugal not cheap. There is a difference....frugal buys the best quality that can be afforded and takes care of it. Cheap just buys crap that will end up uselessly broken in short order.
