There is some wonderful history about the Meadows Mill Company and we have loved reading their stories from the early 1900s as written in a book that our local Millwright shared with us. We, too, were SO disappointed to hear that there was a possibility that a company that has been around over a century might be going downhill. Thanks for restoring our faith in the Meadows Mill Company.

Glad Meadows explained that not all of these were made the same, and that the parts need to be tweaked. Hope you are able to make it all work. May God bless you and Wanda, and may He continue to bless the work of y'alls hands.😊

How fast they move in a pinch depends on how hard you pinch. They got PINCHED. Attitude adjustment…

Exactly right. You have a platform and they know it. I am not surprised they are MOVING to make things right, Danny.

@@hillsmillhomestead I was on the receiving end myself, so I KNOW that, properly applied, it’s a most effective and discrete clue stick.

Your viewers love and respect you. This is a community where people take care of each other and learn from each other. You have helped so many with your knowledge. Once upon a time you could look to the people down the road for help. Now you have to find your "neighbors" online.

The old mills were probably built like the old muskets. No two were identical, whereas parts are interchangeable.

Danny this is wonderful news! Knowledge is power!! Good to have talked to Mr. Roberts and given this information so you can now tweak the parts to fit. I was extremely concerned that something would break while you were tweaking those parts and not be able to return them. Meadows is much better than the new equipment!! The new stuff costs an arm and leg and then you can’t work on it! I’ll look forward to watching you work on it to get it running!!

In the modern mass produced world, we are so used to a part being drop in and exactly like what it replaced thanks to modern production methods. It's no wonder that a 1940's product requires some "hand fitting" as that's the way they made them back then. Glad to see Meadows willing to go the extra mile and help you with the hand fitting process and any question you had. The other good thing of 1940's tech is it will last virtually forever if taken care of (and we all know you will do that!)

It's wonderful they are working with you to get your mill up and running and that they explained you have to tweak some things. They are very willing to work with you and this is such good news. Thank you for the update. This is encouraging and look forward to following your journey in getting the mill up and running a step at a time. Many blessings to you and Wanda.

As long as you’re getting what you ordered and payed for, then it’s all gravy. I hope to see her up and running for ya’! I really wish I had one of my own. There’s an old stone mill right down the road who’s owner I need to speak with about sometime.

Very happy that y'all finally at least have the parts you were waiting for. Never had the chance to see the first video but I'm sure the folks at Meadows were a bit taken aback by everyone contacting them. So what does Ms Wanda think about losing her she shed to the mill now instead of the cub?😂. Wishing all y'all a blessed day.

The squeaky wheel gets the oil. Had you not put up that video and even your views looking out for you they may not have moved so fast. You had been trying to talk to them before and you never got calls back. So I think this lit a fire under them They could have explained that earlier when you ordered the parts. Glad it all worked out and I think they will now take care of you.

Maybe you should try a little of Christian forgiveness and humility and call Medcalf Mills he can help you. None of us are perfect. I have been watching you and Medcalf Mills for a long time and if anyone is humble Justin is. He has his flaws, but he is a kind man and has a gentile soul. In these times we need each other.
