My dad had 2 Corley sawmills almost identical to this with a five man crew....last one I ran the edger for him. He average about 8000 bdft/day. I could nearly watch this all day. Thanks for the video!

Used to see a lot of these little mills here. Brings back memories of going with Grandpa to get lumber sawn.

Boy that brings back memories. My dad was a logger his entire life and I remember riding to the Mill with him many times and watching them unload and saw logs. That was late sixties when I got big enough to go with him until the late seventies. Back then all the mills here in the Ozarks were circle blade mills just like this one. I'm sure band sawmills were in use at different places across the country but us Hillbillies here in the Arkansas Ozarks didn't even know what they were. I enjoyed this video Tim thanks.

Always fascinating to watch logs being processed with this type of mill, even more so than watching a bandsaw mill in operation, but I like both types. Thanks for doing this video Tim, I appreciate the work.

Shame these boys ain't wearin hearing protection. I've got bad tinnitus and I can only imagine how much hearing loss they're experiencing by doing this.

Too true. Of course they might be using in-ear protection in which case it would be very hard to see.

I like your mill and hate negative comments. Hopefully this comment is seen as constructive and not negative. There is a lot of "double" video showing the same cut from different cameras. Maybe it would be better to splice each cut in half and use both cameras for a single cut. Would make for a more interesting video. This is a good video otherwise. Please don't take offense. Dave

No matter what you do on KZbin, you are not going to make everyone happy. You for instance, don’t like the way I place to cuts, but on the other hand someone else wants more in it. It doesn’t matter to me, I film and post and thankful to be able to get out and enjoy and do it.

What size and how many teeth are on that blade? I just realized at the end how far apart the teeth are. I'm guessing it might be a B style. 371 does well with it.

If a diesel has so much tourge, why does it need to run at such a high RPM? Engine will life way longer then running it like this.
