That does it! The next time I buy a Tractor, it’ll be a 1940s model from Case!

I helped my grandfather in the late 1950's and early 60's. He had a Case 1951 model that looked identical to this. He used the belt wheel to run a hammer mill, the PTO for a hay baler. Brought back memories

I bet that baler worked that tractor to death! Lol

@@mfranzusan3014 All I remember is the bales came out faster than I could handle them. He had a wagon on the back of the baler and the bales went up a chute for me to stack.

@@woodwaker1 that's impressive! Do you remember what make or model the baler was?
@woodwaker12 жыл бұрын
@@mfranzusan3014 It was also a Case, used twine and did rectangular bales. Was a good system, the only problem was the knot tying would need adjustments. Straw bales were pretty light, but hay could be really heavy for a scrawny kid.
@mfranzusan30142 жыл бұрын
@@woodwaker1 did it run off the PTO? Or was it powered by an engine?

The VAC was always one of my favorites. In a few places they were making an obvious poke at Ford.
