1943 Gibson L-00 played by Joe Robinson

Gibson's first steps into the world of flattops began in the 1920's with the L-series, and in 1931, the L-00 was introduced. A very light and lively '40s L-00, this example has the classic "punchy" midrange and bite. This example features a thin-waisted body with a war-time neck, a substantial round "C" with no truss rod, and script logo. The guitar's history of repairs includes: repaired back crack, repaired treble side rim crack, replaced pickguard, neck set, refret, and a plugged screw hole on the neck heel. The guitar has also been oversprayed and there is an unplugged hole above the end pin.

That was just incredible. I have a ‘46 LG2, my prized possession, and its just wonderful to see a vintage small body Gibson shine like that. Though Ill never get near the speed and expression you display here, you inspire me too explore and add more harmonics to my playing.
