That looks awesome! I was given one of these tops in Alaska for my 1942 WWII Jeep. Unfortunately, its missing its doors and windshield. I didn't realize that it had its own style of windshield as well! Are your doors Marine playwood? Also, any chance you could get measurements for the doors and windshield 😬. Would love to complete mine lol 😆.

I had a Pentagon top on an early '46 CJ2A in Northern Arizona.

Awesome! I went to school in Flagstaff for a few years and had my 1942 MB Jeep up there. Summer is nice, but the top certainly helps when it’s winter!

It’s looking great. I like your US Government stencil. Have you found out anything about it or seen another one on a jeep? Could the jeep have been used by the Dept of Forestry or something like that after the war?

Thanks! In my research I did find a few other vintage Jeeps in old photos (I think a cj3a and cj3b) with those on the side, but unable to make out if it said US Government or US Forest Service. Our best guess was immediately after the war it was either used by forest service or some other agency such as Bureau of Land Management.

Do you happen to know where to find any door frames and perhaps the window frame, I'm missing those?
