1944 Militaria WWII German Mess Kit Paint Review

My review of the 1941 spec mess kit and canteen cup paint made by 1944 Militaria. This is something reenactors should strive to obtain for their impressions. Since most reenactors portray 1944, this would be the most common paint seen later in the war.

I imagine a lot of reenactors use their mess kits to cook in. A lot of them look that way to me

I just picked up a canteen with a steel cup.Just wondered if they were painted on the inside as mine is. Cheers

Can i use the color for painting the MG42 drum mag ?

Wouldn't almost all of the paint be worn off after a few weeks in the field anyway? I'm pretty sure this is the case at least for the aluminum cups.
