The new coil is 5oo thick and probabaly puts out 50% more power than it was ever designed for, you cant really add the original badge back on too if you've painted it a colour and texture it was never available in, it's more of a resuscitation than a restoration

The stamped text on the bottom says, "Guarded in accordance with B.S.1945." Seems more like a reference to some kind of safety standard or law that governs appliances like this, not necessarily a date of manufacture.

Tidy work. A couple of thoughts: if you haven't yet, please research ACMs, also I'd recommend using flex with a higher temperature rating.

I'd wrap that repaired switch in kapton tape. Epoxy resins are better in compression than tension.
