What a beauty, must have sold rather quickly and I have seen videos of your work, often making things better than new. I'd think it went for close to 30k being all rebuilt. I've got a 3a that looks just like it but maybe not quite as nice down in Florida, it's a great 4wd that goes anywhere.

hello, really nice Jeep! was the dual tank a factory option? Or did you have to remove the tool box? How can you have a rear PTO and an overdrive? doesn't that go in the same place at the back of the transfer case? thanks a lot
@metalshaperJeep2 жыл бұрын
dual tanks were not a factory option. I removed tool box when building this body tub, then built a custom fuel tank for passenger side. Rear pto and overdrive is common. Overdrive gets installed, then a special adapter to accept the pto is installed on back of overdrive unit and pto bolted to it.

The original flathead four in the willys Jeep’s was an undependable piece of shit. The best engine for these Jeep’s were a 225 Buick v6 swap. The Buick engine gave a lot more power and dependable.
