You ought to hold onto that with all that family history. I couldn’t sell something like that.

My dad had a 1948 Willys Jeep while we lived here in Colorado and South Dakota until 1968. Been looking for one the last couple of years.

I had my Dad's 47 cj-2a, thought I needed money and sold it. Have kicked my self many times for that. In 1997, or 98 I bought another. Still not the same if it's not gone please keep it, you'll be sorry if you don't. Yes I still have the Willys I bought, and plan on keeping it.

Sold it a while back to a cool guy in VA. Kinda bummed. But replaced with a 2007 2 door JK. All good.

Hi Patrick, I love your 2A and the great family connection. I have a late '46, #69376 with 82,000 miles. It's only had one post factory paint job to olive drab (one of the former owners was in the USMC). The original color was Picket Gray with Harvard Red wheels. Both of those colors are still visible under the 2nd paint job. So, yes gray was a color option in 1946. Thanks for keeping yours in operation and sharing it with the public. You're right, there's no anonymity when you're driving these around town. Here's the link to my KZbin video kzbin.info/www/bejne/fqHQfn6Ge8mgqcU Tim

Anyone know what type of spare rim is on this jeep. I have a 1950 Sears Jeep trailer that has that style of artillery rim. They are the only rims like that I've seen.
@uwewaibel91633 жыл бұрын
I suppose it´s a rim from a Ford Mutt M151

@@murphyislucky I made an offer on a 46 that needed a lot of work. The numbers just never worked out though. Thanks for responding.

You mentioned sentiment. FCA has never built a Jeep and never will. Keep the Jeep and buy a Toyota 4-Runner.
