1947 GMC Removing the Cab

Removing components and cleaning the frame. Hoisting the cab off of the frame without a helper.

I don't know, but that sure looks newer than a '47 cab to me.. More like a '50s or later.

Hi Mike, what makes you think it's a later cab? I'm pretty sure it's a 47, based on the rear cab mount being located at the center. The fuel tank inside the cab is not original.

@@MarksGarageChannel Well, I can't really say for sure. I just thought the pickups of that year looked more like the pre-war versions. Regardless, I really love watching you work, and I just love restoration videos of all sorts. So,.....Keep up the good work my Man. "Yer doin' a fine job"!!!
