Funny my 49 sounds the same!. I've got the overdrive transmission. It's geared so low I can throw it in second at about 5 miles an hour

I agree. We have a Borg Warner OD unit on my dads 57 Chevy 210, and it has never worked right.

Hey there!! I'm actually a podcast fan.. And i had a quick question on episode 6 i believe it to be. I have a 07 k7 750.. Curious if a stator and regulator rectifier work from a L series gsxr to mine.. K series 2000 - 2009 L series 2011 - current Not sure either to get a k series from a 2009 just to play it safe.. I'd like to know your thoughts on it.. Appreciate all the videos you put out 👍 And have a happy new years!

Happy new year to you too! For the GSXR 600/750, the stator changed in 2006 and stayed the same up through 2018 as far as I know. You definitely cannot interchange a 2005 or older stator on the 2006 and newer models. The regulator is functionally the same on all of them, but the number of wires and connectors changed in 2006 as well. Just get parts listed for your year specifically, and you'll be fine!
