The clock looks beautiful. When it plays musical sequence on set of four bells for every quarter it seems to pray for people working in military, police, hospitals, building construction and in all departments of duties with risk.

For many years we lived in one of the original Seth Thomas employee houses in Thomason, CT where the factory was.

That is so cool. Is that the original Plymouth Hollow?
@epretre5 жыл бұрын
The Clock Guy Yes Thomaston was originally Plymouth Hollow. Just up the hill to the East is the town/village of Plymouth and then Terryville with the Eli Terry water wheel.

@TheClockGuy I just purchased one of these and it is on it's way to my place. I was wondering what you recommend for shining up the wood finish with. I like how you shined this one up and was curious if there was anything in particular that you might recommend that would be wood finish safe that wouldn't damage the material. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I should be receiving mine this week.

I've got that same clock I think. Not sure if the date. Was my grandmother's. I love the chimes but unless it's perfectly level it doesnt chime on time if at all. It stops.
