I just bought a running and driving 1958 Towmotor 420 LP forklift. I think I might have made a mistake as far as parts availability goes.

It might depend on what you need. If yours has a Continental engine, there are parts out there for those since they were in all kinds of machines. I found some general pieces from Steiner Tractor Supply. They have knobs, switches, steering wheels, etc., since the farm tractor stuff is the same or similar. I haven't tried personally, but Caterpillar bought Towmotor in the 1960s, so a Cat equipment dealer might have access to some old parts. Good luck and thanks for the comment!
