You know the tractors there making now wont last as long as what those tractors have . They made stuff right back then . It's real nice setup you got there !

It's the electronics that will do the newer stuff in and the cost of repair . I see a lot of machines junked that could be fixed over the expense or because it's an computer problem the dealer can't figure out

I'm lucky to have it small ones like it that don't need hydraulics are expensive down here and that ones in perfect shape

Homesteading the Hard Way Not sure how they are here in Missouri it I’m gonna be on the lookout for one.

@@ketchhomesteadoutdoors4048 what makes that one rare is the manual lift , if you have remotes on your tractor one can be had fairly reasonable

You can tell that Ferguson and drill have been well cared for.

It takes me about 17 minutes to open one of those bags hahaha
@HomesteadingtheHardWay5 жыл бұрын
When your filling that thing up you cut the side of the bag open with a pocket knife that's a lot faster lol

New sub here from Facebook. Congrats by the way! I prefer the older tractors to the new!

Thank you . I like them better myself , a lot to be said for a machine that is still working well after 65 years I doubt much new equipment will be running in 2084 !

Great set up Chris. I've been thinking of sowing rye as a cover crop in my garden any options on that? Blessings to y'all
@HomesteadingtheHardWay5 жыл бұрын
I sow some for a cover crop most of the time , remember it doesn't have to be to thick . Hope y'all are doing good .
