This turned out amazing, and your whole reveal look is just awesome!! I'm not normally a jacket person, especially short jackets, but it really ties the whole thing together, and suits you so well!

Thank you! I do legit love this outfit and I agree, the jacket does really tie it together. I'm going to have to make another one.

As I was watching your video, my 26 yr old and passed by and said it's about time I watch sewing done by a normal person. When my son was 7, we went to an Autism social. He was afraid of bullies and new people. He had a nice time interacting with the other kids and adults. At home as I was putting him to bed, he said "there were normal people there mother". After that he thought and decided the only normal people are those with Autism. Therefore 99.1% of the population is not normal and has serious problems. He used to get into trouble at school walking up to neurotypicals with a soft compassionate voice and ask them how is it they are coping with being so abnormal. The pattern would be neat and I could make a matched pair for my grandsons. Apparently I am the only granny who sends black goth clothes, plush monsters and coffin shaped cookies to her grandchildren. I am tempted to send them Lacuna Coil CDs.

I am far from normal 🤣 You're son definitely has the right idea, I often feel like the way autistic people process information makes so much more sense than the way neurotypical people do, like, just say what you mean lol. You sound like a cool granny! I would have loved to have gotten stuff like that when I was a kid.

@@craftingwithcasca thanks. Relationships were a nightmare and then I met a really tall Hippie, 20 years older than I. Nearly twenty years of marriage and I had the time of my and we got a long really despite having almost nothing in common. One of our kids had issues and after years of therapy and getting this kid evaluated, we find out that she is normal and the rest of family including my husband and myself are Autistic. So I have five kids with autism and one that doesn't. My youngest who is almost 24 and autistic is in medical school and the mother of my grandsons. We used to wear matching mother-daughter goth outfits.

@@bohemiansusan2897Nice one for your youngest. Also that's so interesting, makes me wonder if the gene responsible for autism is a dominant gene.
@bohemiansusan28972 ай бұрын
@@craftingwithcasca it's not a dominant gene but I wonder. Two autistic parents have only a 25% chance of having an autistic child, except for me. I no longer care about being cool or liked. There is too much in this life to bother with toxic and petty people. 🙂

@@craftingwithcasca its not dominant, I just happen to be stranger than fiction.
