8 mm Movie Film Scanning Transfer - $10 ! ...
Hello, neighbors. I have the technology to scan/digitize reels of movie film (such as home movies from the 1930s through 1980s). I realize this posting is lengthy, but since I get asked a lot of questions I figure this way I can answer the most common questions right away. You may have old home movies that you've wanted to digitize but learned it can be very expensive. Well, I purchased a film scanner in order to scan my father's many home movies. I've completed that project, and figure I can do the same for nice people here on KZbin and Facebook but at half the cost of what transfer companies charge. I hope to recoup the cost of the expensive scanner. Filmmaking and video editing are hobbies of mine.
The scanner is capable of accepting Standard 8mm and Super 8mm movie reels (no sound). It does frame-by-frame digitizing for high-quality digital conversion. It scans and saves the movies as MPEG-4 (MP4) digital movie files at 1080P resolution!
Check online to see how expensive it is to have a transfer company do it. I purchased my own scanner because I had 32 large reels of my father's home movies to scan and it would have cost thousands of dollars at their prices. Most companies charge around 40 cents per foot of film, so a small 50-foot reel would cost you $20. If you want any special editing or enhancements done they will charge much more. They even charge to put your films onto a DVD!
I have a OneDrive and Dropbox account, so I can upload your movies there and you can download them onto your computer; this way you can download and view your movies within an hour after I complete each one.
I can provide references from happy customers for whom I've done large projects for. I love using my scanner to bring people's memories into the digital age, it's a labor of love for me and something I enjoy doing which is why I do it for a low price. My real job consists of being a legal assistant for a large downtown law firm.
Your old films are becoming brittle and the colors are fading. Transfer them to digital before the memories are lost forever.
P.S. I also transfer VHS tapes for only $15 each, even if the tape has six hours of video on it!

I look forward to chatting with you about your project!
