It’s crazy to think that gas stations use to do stuff like oil changes, tune ups, car washes, etc. I’m a 2000s kid so that was decades before my time. Didn’t realize the museum was located in ga, definitely gonna have to check it out one day 🔥 Great vid and cool hair Greg!

Great looking place..and pump block..i would be at home at your place there.. life was so much better back then...no cell phones..i met so many folks..in thise days .. different walks of life..back then...i turned my 2 car home garage into a service bays..but working..now that in Simi retired..down in Florida.. working inground lift..and a saylor Beall.air compressor.old school like my dad had..for over 40 plus yrs.. i love your clean white place..my mother would be happy to step in there..that station..bays..Ha.Ha...great video...what an honor to see its alive still

I have turn my 2 car garage into a service like looking station...not as great as yours..But i added a old school inground lift..1969.. Rotary.. single post lift..fully restored.. working lift.that place is Clean....we washed our bays floors each night..great video

Some stations had repair pits,you drove over, mechanic would climb down, they forgot the driveway bell hose.

When I was young,gas stations were often referred to as "filling stations" No food marts! They usually had a soda machine in front. Real mechanics too! The owners were not from India or Pakistan.
