1951 Ford COE Auction Buy!

If I were only young enough to go after and of course its gone by now but that is my dream truck. Its everything I would want. Since the side racks are wooden, I would pull those off and keep them for when needed but with all the walnut trees in the east, I could easily make new side racks that are much lower and easily seen over the top of. It has so many options that a person can do with it. Even though the flat head engine is still there, I would change it to a Cummins 6.7 engine with all its new items including the engine brake. I just would drive it till the cows came home for its just what I love to drive an ride in. I also would do a air ride system on it, ten hole Alcoa wheels with the 9:00 Rubber on it. I would keep it the same color after fixing all the rust and do it in two tone black fenders and top of the cab down to just above the back window. All new stainless as well. The running boards would get proper rebuilt and painted with the rubber inserts where you step on it. The deck would be new oak and stained. I might just do the sideboards the same wood. It would all be new 100% clear boards.

I want it! Man that thing is cool! Put a flatbed on it and haul cars with it! I bet you could get $10-15k for a COE in that nice of condition!

I was told its a 312, not a flathead v8, early Y-block i guess
