This just came up in my suggesteds. Our family had one of these in 1966 and it was indeed "special" to ride in it as a kid. The straight 8 engine and Dynaflow transmission combined to give a long, wonderful "vroooooommm" sound, and the ride was like being on a cloud. My dad took an 8mm film of my mom driving it, and my story is in the description. Nice to see what thecoriginal color looked like, and note that the back seat passengers had access to their own "Vent Window" so that one did not need to open the regular window for ventilation. I am happy to see so many people thoroughly enjoy this model and year car in which i had the pleasure to enjoy as a kid😊

Nice it's unmolested without a bunch of aftermarket garbage on it. Beautiful car. This Special appears fully optioned with the Dynaflow automatic, the full wheel covers, radio and the full size steering wheel horn assembly. For about $2100 1952 dollars the customer got a lot of car for the money. The big Roadmaster was well over $3000 by then.
