I'm trying hard to think how I can express my feeling's about this. I have my Dads 52 XK 120 he left me, I love this car not only for the beauty of its design! But also the memories of my Dad talking about it and the passion for the car he had!

I feel your passion! I had a 57 XK140 FHC. Had it for 20 years, sold it 20 years ago for 4500.00 dollars. Got to expensive to repair and was sitting it Garage. Didn't have much money to spare then. Now, I have a little and no Jag. Worst mistake of my life. Great looking car, be well and stay healthy.

First sports car I ever remember seeing as a child..........my next door neighbor had a '57 XK140 he bought while he was stationed on England as an Army Ranger, had it shipped to Charleston, SC where he met it, offloading from the ship while still in the crate - he opened the crate, installed the wheels, did the initial service, gassed it up and drove it home. There were no Jaguar dealers in America then so he did all the service and repair work himself. I used to go for rides in it with him and his son when I was a small child, standing up in the seat, wind blowing through my hair, the smell of leather, oil and gasoline, that wonderful engine singing out as he shifted gears and blipped the throttle in between shifts. I'll never forget that experience!
