Good looking set of Erie Alco's. It's probably the nicest set I've seen. Having the complete set makes it just that much nicer. I have all of the early 50s alcohol sets. They are, without a doubt, some of the nicest motor designs from that era. They are of very good quality and are excellent pullers for a single motored engine. I enjoy running mine.

The 2023, 2031, 2032, 2033, basically the 1st Alco series are my favorites. Modified to two motors per unit they are unstoppable in pulling power. Double them up having four motors and they can exceed the horizontal motored F3’s. In fact the F3’s twin units (no dummy) with all magna traction are even stronger. I like seeing tech by others on the old post war Lionel.😊

Really nice set. Could you do a video on how you made your switches. That would be a great bit of information.

Smooth runners. Mine run that smooth as well, but are missing the Erie logos and the wing logo on the noses. Can anyone tell me where I can find these? Not having much luck.
