My ‘54 Dodge Royal V8 2 door sedan with an original Hemi. Great car, fun to drive. When I purchased it there was still plastic from the factory on the back seats. $15 doesn’t go that far today. My brake cylinder failed when I tried to avoid a drunk pulling out on me. Grew up in a body shop and salvage yard, had a lot of access to cars and parts.

When I was a kid, my dad had a 53, Plymouth Cranbrook, I don't know if it was the cheapest model or not. Flathead 6, I remember he had to have the starter replaced, the mechanic that changed it told my dad, that had to be the biggest and heaviest piece on the whole car. I never realized the brake adjustment was so complicated.

When I was a kid I had a buddy that had a cabin on East Branch lake up near St Mary's. In the winter we would take whatever snowmobiles were actually running all over the logging trails around that lake. It was so much fun and watching you Roger snowmobiles brings back great memories of doing that. We also may or may not have stopped by the Strain Brewery and picked up a couple of cases of cold snacks on the way

Beautiful old car. Running sweet now too. Well done Mr. That snowmobile lump looks like a T500 head, barrel and carbs. There used to be a race series for the Suzuki T500 motorcycle over here back in the day. Twas good racing too. I had a Suzuki 500 gamma back in the day, which was the square four 500 2 stroke. Did 20 miles to a uk gallon no matter wether ridden fast or slow. So 120mph everywhere it was!. Some bastardo stole it after a year off owning it. Propa gutted at the time. Good video. Thanks Mr 😎

If you had some ice picks on the track you would have definitely made it up them hills with no problem, That was the only issue I saw, that sled had plenty of power to do it, it just kept loosing traction with no picks to grab the ice, grew up on sleds living in the fingerlakes NY area it's such a blast, great deal on that sled, let me know if you ever decide to get rid of it..

1:00:11 Yea I hear ya mate! I live in Canada and the winters SUCK here for that. Salt is a great way of melting the snow on the roads but in doing so it destroys cars and corrodes bolts etc. Just crazy IMHO. I used to love winter as a younger man as I loved Down Hill Skiing Snowmobiling and sliding. We call it tobogganing (Well some of us still do) even though we really don't use them anymore LOL. But in my older years snow just means one thing to me now. Shoveling!! And the only real fun I get out of it is drifting my rear wheel drive BMW's. But that only lasts for a little while then I'm ready for asphalt and warm weather LOL!

Spent a lot of time in Roxbury in the 1990s and early 2000s, a friend built a house not far from the road that John Burroughs had a cabin on. Pretty area. Chappies was called 'Bud's' back in the day, an old diner that was open for breakfast and lunch only. CHEAP food, and they sold workboots and work clothes in the back - mainly full of farmers having breakfast after doing their chores. Then Bud retired and a hipster made it into 'Taste Buds' and the prices went way up. And now it's what you went to. Always thought about living in that area but monday - friday it's totally dead. No hospital and a bad school made it a 'no'
