Your right man some people may look at that as a stupid purchase. Those people would be dummy's. That was an excellent purchase brother. I'm 34 an this is exactly how my brother an I built up our hardware supply. I ALWAYS tell younger guys especially fellas in their 20s that are just starting out in life, be on the lookout for Garage & Estate sales. There is zero better way to build up your tool & hardware supply. We got super lucky a few times. One Estate sale we struck gold on was an estate sale of a lifelong mechanic & carpenter. This great guy was 90 when he passed. He had everything. From hand tools to bandsaws and router tables. We bought almost everything. The amount of nails, screws, nuts & bolts that we bought was literally worth the whole entire purchase. The man had a better selection than a local Ace Hardware or even Menards. Seriously any fellas in their early 20s, this is a guys life hack here fellas. It's addictive too. Especially in an estate sale where you're buying these items because a man passed away. You get to hear the man's life story. His hopes n dreams an you get to give new life to the tools he held dear and used on a regular basis. You can get great deals if you bond a little bit with the family. Ask questions! Be interested! When the grieving family sees that you're actually interested in more than a great deal, that you're going to honor these tools and hold them close, they're more likely to offer you better deals and lump purchases at a discount. Just seriously remember to be kind an approachable. Be curious, ask questions if their not too emotionally distraught. Get to know the loved one they just lost. Maybe you'll find yourself in a jam working on something, glance down at the wrench you got from an estate sale an get an inspiration how you can solve the issue. Could just be that fella watching over ya, sharing some wisdom one last time to a friend he never met.

Mark the timing belt and transfer it to the new belt so that there's no room for error. thank you very much... You don't know how many times I've told technicians. Did they listen nope then they ask me for help. I'm so glad I'm retired. Good riddance to the automotive industry. LOL 😂 Bunch of shade tree mechanic know-it-alls.

Je vais la regarder à nouveau cette vidéo parce qu'elle a un très bon narratif et qu'entre autres choses, elle représente l'âge d'or de l'automobile Américaine. Grand merci.

Hey Chris. I liked this episode very much. There is enough diversity, you could travel a few times and very nice that you could deliver that Mustang, you made beautiful. It is even more powerful when you was able to do it for a sympathic person, like the one you brought the Mustang to in N.Y. Very nice projects. I appriciate them all. Well, be good, man. My regards to you and your girlfriend/wife, Dréwès

At the 17 minute mark you mention how for someone who gets bored and can jump around to something new. Oh my goodness that gives me so much anxiety lol, I would just want to start and one end and work through it to the other end until it was cleaned up and done.

Those five speed gearboxes were bullet proof, back in the ‘80’s they were gold in Australia plenty of them went into performance cars, I’m sure restorers and rodders are probably still hunting for them now.
