1955 Chevrolet Chevy Bel Air 2 Door Sedan - My Car Story with Lou Costabile

On "My Car Story" we're in Downers Grove IL at The Downers Grove Car Show on 8-8-14.
We're looking at a 1955 Chevrolet Chevy Bel Air 2 Door Sedan.
The car's Owner is Dave DeCarlo. He’s had the car since 2005. This car looks like the day it was bought in 1955!

Hi Lou...this ones a pleasure to watch! Too many of these 55s were ruined by being cut up, modified, non stock wheels, etc. This car looks best when left the way Harley Earl designed it 😎

The minor details like the tissue dispenser are what really finish these short videos off as they are often over looked in other reviews.

The " V-Chevy" emblems under each taillight indicates that the car was equipped with the 265 cubic inch V8. 6 cylinder Bel Airs didn't get them; but any original V8 did get them

Those V emblems do signify that the car has a V8 in it. They were absent if you got the 6 cylinder.
