SORRY MT82 TRANS

That's garbage, and not at all what Mustang enthusiasts are looking for in a new GT350, much less an "R" model. We want simplification, lightness, response and feedback. We want a Mustang that's a driver's car, not another in a sea of over-powered loser mobiles. Give us a Mustang that's 500lbs lighter, has gauges and not those feltching screens, has actual steering and clutch feedback. Real feel of what is happening at the contact patches, and at the clutch.

Why not upgrade the MT82 transmission to a tremec with all that extra power and suspension work ? Rather get a Dark Horse that comes with a tremec and it’s a premium with the performance package and put a supercharger on it and still be $35k less then the GT350 Shelby dropped the ball on this one. At least when Ford had the licensing for Shelby, they made the GT 350 totally different from a base model of GT Like with the flat plain crank 5.2 Vodo motor and Shelby emblems like on the steering wheel and when you start the car, says Shelby, etc..

My dream car, Larry built it perfect! Only could be better if I owned it!

I always loved this car. Now that I see the inside though I can't stand the tan leather. Worse yet is the drivers side dash board... It looks like they just shoved it in there and bolted it down. It just doesn't fit right -no streamlined integration to the remaining dashboard. Humm... not sure if I still love it although it would be so fun to drive. I just love 5 speed's! ❤

This is when America was America; a piece of art coming down the road. Can you imagine the creativity in the Cadillac design department to come up with a car like this? Notice: no EPA mandated roofline here needed to pass the gas mileage specifications; 8 miles to the gallon for this rig!

just stumbled across this old one Lou , very nice . i used to go through neighborhoods on the NW side of Chicago in the mid 80s looking for cool cars to buy parked on the street ,I would leave a note on the windshield , a 67 california GS sat on a side street ,white /red interior .The lady would not sell , it just rusted away sadly .
