Beautiful car and I admire your attention to detail and skill. My brother and I just inherited my dad's 4 door Bel-Air he has owned since 1972. It used to be a show winning car but it says for 18 years and worst thing you can do to a car is let it sit. But we are fixing it up again and I will be referring to your videos in the process. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. My dad was a mechanical genius and taught me a lot but not even a fraction of all his knowledge. I would do anything to have one more day in the garage working with him on stuff.

It's always a great time when the "jewelry" starts going on the car! Especially against that beautiful black paint! I know how much work that is going through all of that stainless and white rouge compound (hopefully not much emery). Those hardtops have a new level of stainless compared to the sedans I usually do. I am amazed at how my Dad Howie got through all of what you are doing with his '55 Hardtop after retiring and in early stages of Parkinson's that we have on the channel. I have always appreciated your level of detail, forward thinking or preventive thinking in protecting the car during assembly. Also, fixing the assembly line flaws by spending the extra time fitting all of the components correctly really takes the car to the next level. The car is really an amazing project and I look forward more videos and seeing the car finished! Take care and keep up the stellar work!

So cool to see the progress, I have the very same car 1955 Belair 2 dr Sport Coupe.. Mine is on the Operating table (Rotisserie) having some cancer removed. Like you I'm doing all the work myself, at home in my shop, been at it now for a year. I have picked up a lot of tips & pointer's from you. Looking at your car helps me visualize my car. I do want to go with the 5.3 or 6.0 LS engine for performance, reliable, economical, drive-ability, Thank you for sharing...........PS,, If I knew how!! I would share my video's on KZbin, have to get the kids to help walk dad thru that process, (someday) LOL. Have good day!!

Looking great!! Loving the trim. My sedan is going to look very plain compared to your hard top. Get a few Harbor Freight moving blankets for 6 bucks to lay on the floor for parts.

Man o man, adding that stainless is really making things come together and it pops on your black!! Great job, now you need a trophy case for all the awards you're going to win. Great work to be proud of for sure and thanks for the tips along the way, as I'll be doing the same stuff on my 55 HT..

Your attention to detail is amazing. The 55 hard top is my favorite 50's car and I am enjoying your build progress. Slow and steady wins the race my friend!

You mentioned how you love the trim. Look up at the headliner of a Nomad. There are alot more ribs to polish and you can lie down flat back there. It's alot more comfortable.😊

Man you are killing it on your 55 Chevy! Everytime I watch your videos I'm thinking yeah that's a great idea! Your attention to detail is awesome! That's going to be one sharp 55 Chevy here really soon. Later man ✌

That trim looks fantastic and the back half of the car as well! My 56 has the places for the "opera" lights but doesn't use them. I think the 55 & 56 used the same tops. Maybe they just added the backets for the center light on the 56 models.

I was about to ask if that interior stainless was HT only but you covered it lol. I didn’t know the difference between the HT and the sedan (other than the door post) when I started looking for a car I just knew for some reason some cars had a longer looking trunk area.

Very good videos! Can you recommend anyone's videos for a 56 210 2dr. I am trying to remove all the stainless for paint, and I don't know how to get most of it off. Thanks! :)
