1956 Chevrolet 3100 Pickup V8 Nicely Restored

I thought you'd like a look at this nicely restored 1956 Chevrolet 3100 Pickup. It's powered by a more recent small block Chevy with an aluminum intake, four barrel carb, and ram's horn exhaust manifolds. All the power is sent through an automatic trans to the original rear end. The paint is slick, the two-tone interior looks great...just a nice looking truck all the way around. I hope you find it interesting, thanks for watching!

I bought an exact 56 from an old guy who lived in Yellowknife Canada all his life. He bought the truck new in Saskatchewan, drove it to Yellowknife and it never left. I bought it from him in 1978, 25K miles, a few dings here and there, no rust, paint was rugged, threw a factory rebuilt 235 as the orig. was so gummed up from little use. Beautiful little truck when she was all done! Good vid also!
