@@BentleyTypeR My mother had a green and white 56 Bel-Air convertible until around 1964. We gave it to my older brother because he needed a car. He in turn traded it in on a late model used 63 Falcon convertible and that was the end of the 56 Chevy. The last time I saw it was parked in front of the local high school with risers and slicks on the back. I wish we'd kept it.

@@1940limited Ah. Sucks. I wish that my dad still had his 57' Plymouth. It had a full race hemi, dual carb. It could do a wheelie in 2nd gear. He sadly dropped a piston while trying to sell it. I had a 1957 2door 210 when I was a kid.(at least, I was told it was mine. And I claimed it.) It didn't have a title. And was pretty rough. However, all there. It was black with black, silver and white interior. And a 235 inline 6 cylinder. 3 speed transmission. I sat many a day, dreaming of driving a 57 Chevy. Always my dream car. My uncle sold it for $800 about 25 years later. Since it ended up on his property. I had first dibs. It was too far gone.
