1st off im Allen, my wife and I share this account. But just wanted to say that I've been building model cars since I was 9 or 10. I'm now 47 years old. But I love watching your videos, I have learned alot, and I'm trying out some new things that I've seen on your videos. Ive always had a problem getting my paint jobs to look good, or what I think looks good. So I went on the hunt the other day for some Future floor polish. I didn't have much luck. But I ended up buying some Quick Shine, its a multi surface floor finish. I'm hoping this will have the results that u have with Future. I will let u know how it turns out. But thanks for creating great videos, that are entertaining as well as informative. Thanks for everything you do.

Very nice build. Your paint/chrome detail around the side window openings is correct for a two door post. The upright pillars would be painted the body color, with chrome strips along the top and bottom. Looks perfect, my good man! I just love the purple and gunmetal colors.

I'm doing a modified Bel Aire (stock 2 tone) just like my mom had...her first new car. A 2 tone ivory white top with copper/goldish bottom. I bought the 1955 Bel Aire to have the correct badging/etc. Both from model Roundup.

Great build..i bought the revell press-fit 1/24 scale 1957 Chevy bel-air a month ago and it turned out good, I like that modernized paint job you put on that 1956 Chevy Delray..really sharp looking..oh and I finally found me a 1970 revell pontiac firebird trans-am model like the one you did the build review on a year or a couple of years ago I think..i found it at hobby lobby earlier this evening for 40% off the regular price👍👍👍😊😊😊

Actually you are spot on with the pillar trim. The ‘56 Delray was painted only on the pillars. It was the model below the Belair. In a custom application it would be common to add some of the Belair stainless to the A and C pillars and more as you have done.

Hi Chris, did you know that in 1956 the v8 engines were actually painted Chevy red so they wouldn’t confuse them with the 1955 engines that were the classic orange color? And then in 1957 some of the engines were actually painted a yellowish green color. The build looks nice keep up the good work👍
