My grandfather had this model..you are driving. I wish i new he was going to Sell it. I figured.he was going to keep It forever. I would have tried to buy it. But one month he sold his farm land .his farmall tractor. And his truck.. He bought him a dodge adventure Truck and bass boat. He lived in Newington Ga. When i road with him going fishing In the truck, as a 11 to 13 year old kid, I felt like he had the biggest baddest Truck in town. His had an extra high Cab .which mad it. Stand out. This was my first truck. The way the hood opened should be standard to this day. Made so much sense. Good looking truck. Nice to see one getting around.

@@judd31243 Right on! It was mine too. I got it for $50 when I was 14. New battery and a gas can strapped to the fender and I drove it out of the sticker bushes grip.

No syncros, good ol' double clutch, just like drivin a semi... Doesn't get much cooler than that. What a truck!

It does around 60 mph. It's one is for sale still $6500 obo

Is this with no modifications to the trans or rear end? Obviously 2 high correct?

How did you get it to do 60mph? I have the same truck all original and don't expect more than 45 mph once I get it running. I'd love to know what's under the hood

I just got my 56 s120 4x4 back on the road with all the original running gear and it will cruise at 63mph. I've had it up to 70mph but every mph past 63 is noticeably louder and less smooth so I only wind her out before taking a run at a hill.

70mph years ago, downhill, but 45-50mph these days with a 240ci
