I think that it's the result of attaining the age at which one can afford it. I've had my PPL since 1/2/79 but am only now able to afford to fly my Tripacers as much as I'd like to.

Great video....just a fun fact about the TriPacer. Country legend Roy Clarke owned one....from my understanding two decades plus....but then he bought a Mitsubishi.

Really enjoyed the video. If you haven't already, could you comment on any possible issues with older aircraft, such as verifying the integrity of the wings and other structural components and checking for metal fatigue, etc. Thanks again.

If it's an aluminum aircraft corrosion can be an issue, also buckling of the skin is signs of hard landing normal on the bottom. if tube and fabric the frame is 4130 steel will last "forever". Fabric is good if painted with poly bush, silver coat(UV protection), and proper aircraft paint however many try to save money and don't do it correctly.

What avionics and GPS set up do you have? I barely saw a pop up video screen/monitor and antennas in the forward part of the windshield.

We have a IFly GPS and a Stratux adsb which is the antennas in the front.
