1957 Buick Century dash and Start up

Looks almost like the one on Mother's old 57 Roadmaster. Same color scheme, but her's had a french seamed leather upper pad, a padded section below the turned aluminum strip and AC vents in the center of the upper pad and at the ends of the lower pad.

Had a 86 century it could fit in the middle of this car. Car was completely stripped of features. This thing is awesome.

What was a Century all about. Seems I recall it was a Special with a Road master engine. Am I wrong?
