Cleaned up a 57 Jr. a year ago! It was a burst and I replaced the tuners, adjusted the pole pieces on the P90 since someone had backed them out for some reason. The frets were in almost new condition. It sounded amazing after I finished. The only draw back was the original case was in rough condition. I was sad to see it go, because I loved it ! lol

I've got a '59 tv yellow, single cutaway about the same condition,2nd owner since '72,a wicked sick p90.I've heard they were made just Jan and Feb of '59, not too many of em.

It’s okay. It’s better if you have a lot of money to spend. Michael Lemmo is actually the best part of Norm’s. If Frank Stallone is in town, he makes good conversation, but he gets mad if you play while he’s talking. The technician, Joel, is a bit on the arrogant side for my tastes…almost as bad as Mark Agnesi was. Angela Petrilli is very nice if you’re lucky enough to see her there. The bigger problem is LA is shot right now. Tarzana is no picnic (even for the Valley).

@@Bluepilled-c5t For antiques, it’s great. They have a great assortment of Martina and Taylor acoustics worth a bundle. When it comes to electric guitars, Lemmo demos the best of what they have. I got a good price on a ‘73 Gibson Les Paul Custom and a ‘65 Strat in fair condition. I got a ‘49 Epiphone Lap Steel, but I’m not sure where I picked that up. It may have been in New York. They used to have many shops with rare guitars for sale as well. Too bad both LA and NY are nightmares.

True story: I was in a band who all collectively decided to kick out the rhythm guitar player when he showed with a Riviera amp. We saw him a few years later on J st begging for $ and I told him I’ve give him 15 bucks for that Amp. He then told me he traded for drugs and then got beaten up and robbed because the drug dealer came back and claimed to have gotten ripped off because of how bad it sounded
