As someone nearly 70 years old, the silver wraith was out of Production by the time I started driving. I have always liked the dignity of the silver wraith As opposed to the Phantom series. The smaller wheelbase just seems not as ostentatious, not as showy, but every bit as elegant. Thank you for sharing.

This would have to rate as my all time favourite Rolls Royce, a ‘50’s Hooper bodied Silver Wraith! They are the absolute epitome of class, elegance & style! And with that STUNNING colour combination, one would be forgiven for thinking Her Majesty was popping in for tea!! 👑

Wonderful video, thank you 🙏 This is what a Rolls Royce is supposed to be. Stately and elegant. Luxurious but not vulgar. Big but not imposing ( by this I mean it’s gracefully long but not so wide that it pushes cars, bikes and pedestrians aside, It’s narrower than a Mini E, if measurement includes rear view mirrors). And then there is this beautifully even sound of a straight six engine. Doesn’t get better than this. For me Rolls Royce peaked in the fifties. And really went down hill after the introduction of the Silver Shadow.

I couldn't agree more! I owned a Mk VI Bentley and the subsequent R Type, either the manual gear-shift or the auto represented sheer driving PLEASURE!

I'm a big fan of the real Rolls Royce cars. I've owned a 1965 Cloud III since 1982, as the second owner, and it's a joy. I wouldn't touch one of the hideous, vulgar Goodwood offerings. Rolls Royce have moved on from their traditional clients.

Not quite as antiquated a machine as that annoying soundtrack would suggest. A/c and electric windows in 1957 - a supremely elegant machine (only surpassed by my Phantom VI, also acquired from the Real Car Company. Thanks Ray and Sue)
