Hi, I too had a 1958 corvette. I bought mine in 1968. I drove it the first two years then spent the next seven restoring it. One question I might ask is are you sure that's not a 59 or 60? I don't see the louvers on the hood or any holes for the chrome trunk bars. Both of those items identify the 58. 1959 and 60 did away with those items. Aside from that, I envy you since I would love to restore another one.

How about Black and Maroon for the '58? I was born in Los Angeles 1949 and have been interested in cars and hot rods my whole life. Loved the Boyd Coddington cars. Best use of an electric motor is to crank up an internal combustion monster.

see the hole on the trunk lid thats where the beer tap should come out of and take the spare tire out the trunk and put ice and pony keg in the tire well and take it too the car show and party... ha ha
