Sean, Thanks we are getting the better of it but it‘s always that last 10-20% od detail that takes the most time. Cheers Dave

Good thinking and reuse of an unused battery box. You probably should have a strap and some softening material at bottom of the box to lock cans in place and avoid any rattling and movements...but that's a task for a later stage...

Jukka, I was thinking the same thing about using rags between the box and the cans to cushion the movement. I‘m just happy to get any fluids away frpm the boot area where it would cause a mess if anything leaked. Cheers Dave

Very creative Dave! Quite nice storage compartment.

Lin, It works well for any fluids i need on a longer drive as if i have any leaks it won't be all over the boot floor. Cheers Dave

John, I hope we can get the shell to the paint shop before the end of March. It‘s the perfect place to keep fluids incase of a leak. Cheers Dave

Richard, Thank you! I thought it was the perfect space to keep all the fliuds you need with a classic car and no spills in the boot lol. Cheers Dave

Good thing about the compliment of fluids is it keeps the balance of the car right now that it has the single battery, my big pickups are the same, they run two 1,100 CCA batteries.

Doug, That‘s a good point i didn't really think about weight distribution it was more about storage of fluids i dont want to have in the boot. Cheers Dave

Another great video from Super Dave. FYI Viewers check out his early 'stuff' on his E Type, dat am some good shit. That's just like you Dave a great tool. In the storage unit of the 150 I think you will keep your Tuxedo and a bottle of Champagne, aka James Bondage :). Neat job on the door you old smoothy you've done it before haven't you ? Don't let it go to your head but you and A Mere (sic) do great work.

Gary, I just thought to myself do really i want to take a chance that oil, brake fluid,and evans coolant could spill in the boot of the car. It just luckly turned out there is enough space to fit it all in lol, More like Basildon Bond lol. Thank you kind sir you not so bad yourself and it‘s AMIR lol. Cheers Dave

Nice work on the battery box. I was wondering, when the wheel is in place is there enough room to get the evans cooling bottle out?
@ClassicCarCave3 жыл бұрын
Pascal, Thanks, There is enough room to take everything out but you would need to take it all out in a certain order. Cheers Dave

Good work as usual. Problem with cubby i you have to take the wheel off or maybe get to it on full lock, not sure. Back t battery consider an isolator Lucas Master Switch. I have one in the cockpit and a 500 Amp fuse at battery, cheap. Also a trickle charge connection under the bonnet, real pain otherwise. I have done all. Why have it difficult.
