1959 B275 Maintenance Part 1

In this video we go over changing the engine oil, the fuel filter, and some common things to inspect for. 1959 International Harvester B275 tractor BD144 diesel engine.
This is a British produced international harvester so I would say it is truly one of the "international" IH tractors!!!

I couldn't help but post before watching it all so this one is after watching. Thanks for the B275 video! I always remember I should have put gloves on after im already getting oily and greasy 😂. Baldwin/Hastings are good filters, still made in USA i believe. I looked for a sediment bowl that would be a like match but didn't find anything that was for the b275 or the bd144(engine model im guessing per tractordata). I also learned that the hard starting without generous glow plug use is common. Looking forward to future content.

What oil pressure should these run?

To be honest I don't know. Mine has the original IH gauge that doesn't have numbers it's pretty much a white gauge that sleeps over to red. Hot idle mine is always set a little above the middle after the rebuild I did years ago.
