Thanks for the awesome tip I didn’t even know that something like this could be done. I’ve got a two speed Merc O Matic on my 63 Mercury Comet. After hitting 30 mph she shifts rather into Top gear. Which is second. Hopefully this will help me narrow down some issues and make the ride much more enjoyable.

Hi- Love the F100’content! Question if I may: I’m rebuilding a 223 I6 from a 1960 F100. There’s a hole in the crank case that connects to the cavity in the block above the case, where the cylinders are housed. It’s close to the breather hose. Do you know if this is normal? It almost looks like a casting defect, but I’m not sure. Thanks for the help!
