Ashley Wilhelm of Pennsylvania is a highly competitive tractor-puller, who caught Classic Tractor Fever from her Dad and her Grandpa. She's a nurse, a Mom, and a life-long fan of classic farm tractors. She shared the story of her beef Massey-Ferguson 98, built back in 1959.

I LOVE the "wheels up" shot of that Massey, it looks like the ol girl is saying "C'mon give me the beans"! This lady sounds a lot like my wife (of 36 years) Laura. She's an old farm kid (I am too), a nurse practitioner, rides on a life flight helicopter and pulls with a restored A-C D17. We've raised a son, now 34 years old and 2 daughters, now 29 and 24 years old. We also have twin 7 year old grandsons. We're also restoring a 7080 A-C right now, the whole family has Classic Tractor Fever!

@@Corvacar The one we're restoring is actually the same one I grew up with. I kept track of its whereabouts for years until the opportunity came to bring it home. They're actually not hard to find at auctions. The hard and expensive part is transporting them after you buy one. Ours always stayed local and was still in good mechanical condition so I just drove it home.

@@MikeBrown-ii3pt I find a lot of 7045’s and 7060’s but no 7080. I have visions of finding one with an Engine worn out in order to swap a Cummins 8.3 L As l am told the Transmission and Rear Drive on the 80 is overall stronger. Is this true ?

I love that tractor, as a youth here in California my brother and i disked our almond orchard. He was older and drove the 98 and I drove a MF 175. Many fond memories of those days. Have not seen one forever, now i know why, not many produced. Thanks for keeping that tractor alive!
