I drove a truck like that back in early 70’s in No Fl. hauling rock and dolomite. Truck was rough but ran and shifted well. Took a little getting used to shifting it, but it was a beast of a Hauler... great experience!!!

What a GREAT Job you've done in this Video-- Quite informative without any of the usual platter of 🐎 pucky blended in. Gonna see what 3B County of Idaho that plate denotes -- Am in 7B , Bonner County myself and it's Am-Aay-Ziinngg what can be found out and about. Love to see/hear your documentary when the Old Gal is up and running... LET 'ER RIP, TATER CHIP ❤!

@rayjones7313 thanks! I got the new pump and injectors in it but found out the pump is 180 out. I plan to be back out in a couple months and it should finally live! This truck came from st Mary's area

My uncle had a "White" Winch Rig tandem rear diff locks and a huge main winch and a smaller front winch I seen it pull a D9d out a pond being dug with a thrown trac just off main winch, We called it Mad Max it was a beast of a Rig you could tell it was a heavy pull rig.

1940-1953 - Mack produced marine engines for many years. "The Mariner" engines were used in yachts, pilot and work boats. The ENDM 405 (FW) was produced from 1940-1941; a total of 16 engines were manufactured.

@BobbyTucker I would love to know when this truck will run. Due to the nature of both residing 20+ hours from the truck and unforseen things coming up when I do work on it, timelines are not always predictable. It is close though, I anticipate it will be running in September

Nice truck, those rotary pumps were notorious for having a short life hopefully you can get it running good.

Thank you. I was pretty frustrated that with a fresh pump and fuel to the injectors that it wouldnt run. More troubleshooting I guess

I’ve never seen an injector pump like that. I’ve seen a lot of inline Bosch pumps but nothing like that. What is it?
@reeseholler922 жыл бұрын
Its still a bosch pump, it's just a rotary pump. Mighty inconvenient really as they're rare as Hens teeth and I just cant swap a rotary for an inline without doing all the injector lines at the same time
@MichaelTJD603 жыл бұрын
What trucking company did that injection pump come from? Just curious.
@reeseholler923 жыл бұрын
It came from jobbers in philly, they're a repair shop, not the trucking company that had the trucks. Mark would be able to tell you what the outfit was, he had mentioned it but I dont recall off hand

It's closer to being a runner. New injectors and pump, but needs a couple new valve springs to replace broken ones and the top end is really nasty. Plan is this summer to pull heads and finish the top end and it should be a runner

I hope I get it running too! Isnt worth much to me as yard art, and would actually be useful with the winches
@Jeepdriver752 жыл бұрын
Nice, what are the plans for it?
@reeseholler922 жыл бұрын
I desperately want to get it running, and the plan is to utilize the winches to pull out stuck rigs around the ranch or to pull timber up where its easier to grab. I bought the truck purely just because of the winches

I know where there is a parts truck for it they're asking $400? For it . I believe it's one I may have owned 40 years ago. Old b model thermadine. It's in western Washington on fb marketplace. I have no room for it or I'd go get it . If it's the one I think it's got a triplex a hour clock ran great 40 years ago had a Prentiss log loader on it in those days. Not now.

I believe it’s a primer problem you loose the prime fast any oring gasket that will let it loose pressure track that leak down you’ll have it going
@reeseholler922 жыл бұрын
Turns out despite me checking the pintles in two injectors, all of them had super high pop off pressures and probably never would have popped off. When they did it was a big spurt of fuel not a spray. I have the inejctors back now, but I need to find the right valve springs to fix the broken one before I throw the injectors back in and send it
