196. HME Galston Valley Railway Loco Testing ~ Friday, 5/05/2023

Video 196 Such a beautiful day to be out testing a few steam locos and instructing a new driver. In this video we almost complete one track lap as seen from the guards position at the rear of the train. It was just by chance the video photographer was walking past when the loco driver Greg said "jump on for a train ride", without hesitation ~ it was a good break from doing some other odd jobs on the GVR site.
